Exposure Definition: The total amount of light allowed to reach the photographic medium (image sensor or film) while photographing.

LIGHT

Light changes everything.

Photography is a magical journey because of light; Any ordinary, well-lit subject will look more exciting and have some impact, whereas any beautiful subject that is poorly lit will look uninteresting and flat.

Observing and learning about its behaviour and how we can affect it is essential for any photography you decide to practice and pursue. 

UNDERSTANDING LIGHT

In this module, we'll explore all different types of Natural and Artificial Light. You'll learn three VERY POWERFUL PRINCIPLES that will significantly impact how you take pictures.

MODULE 1:3

COMPOSITION

Composition is your ultimate tool for a compelling visual statement. It is where you learn to see and appreciate our beautifully diverse and colourful world. 

Beyond all the arbitrary rules, false assumptions and shared ideas about composition, an entire world of artistic opportunities is waiting to be discovered.

MASTERING COMPOSITION

Whether you like to focus on artificially made structures or nature, we'll explore all the compositional tools you must know to execute your shots intentionally, gain more emotional impact and communicate with clarity.

ADOBE LIGHTROOM CC 

A part of being a photographer is editing your pictures and reviewing, selecting, processing, adjusting colour, cropping and more.

Lightroom was designed to assist photographers in managing large quantities of digital images and post-production work.

It helps view, edit and process photos like photographers used to do in the (The Dark Room) analogue world.

In this Module, you will learn to carry out sophisticated image editing techniques to maximise your image quality and efficiency to a professional level.

PHOTOJOURNALISM & STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
